Online learning
I am trying to do the online learning stuff, but I can not see any of the prior posts. The site says there are 64 other posts, but I can't open any of them. should I just realize I am getting old and don't know how everything works, or is anybody else having problems?

Blueberries
For those of you who were considering going blueberry picking at one of Michigan's many blueberry farms (and I highly recommend that you do so), peak season is right now. That means that the majority of the berries on the bushes are ripe and large. If you decide to put it off until later, even a week or two later, the ripe berries will be fewer and smaller, and it will take you twice as long to fill your buckets as it would if you picked them this week.
As for a place to go, all you have to do is type in "blueberries" near "Kalamazoo" into local.google.com and you will find several to choose from. I went to the Leduc farm a couple miles south of M-43 (about 20 minutes away), and found the largest blueberry fields I have ever seen. They will provide you with buckets lined with plastic bags (you keep the plastic bags). If you have never gone picking before, just to give you an estimate of time, it took me a little less than 2 hours to pick about 13 pounds of them--2 buckets.

King airway
So I was told yesterday by Jan (flight nurse) that King airways can't be used in kids. Am I making this up, or didn't Dr. Fales say during ACLS that the local EMS had started to use them in kids recently?

Conference schedule
Just in case anyone other than me needed clarification about our conference schedule this month, I checked with Rob and the only conferences we are required to attend are printed on that sheet. There are no trauma conferences this month.

Fowarding
Thanks Sarah for setting this up.
I am having the same problem as Gina. I figured out how to forward from KCMS to home, but the e-mail coming from KCMS won't let me view them. If it is from outside KCMS, it is fowarded as normal. I don't know why they don't want us to forward e-mail, as long as we keep the one clean.

More info...
Thanks to Sarah for setting this up...great idea!
Anyway, I found some downloads for your Palms specifically for the ED...nice little cheat sheet programs for ACS, stroke, sepsis, and then a general ED program. You can find them at:
http://www.handhelddoc.com/
Secondly, I emailed the IT guy at KCMS today with a couple questions and here are the answers I got:
The epocrates program they were talking about is the free download version for your palm. You just register and sign in yourself. They didn't buy us all a subscription, darnit.
Also, they do not want us to forward our email from the groupwise account and because they don't want us to, they won't tell us how to do it. I was kind of able to figure it out, but it only works with some emails, not all.
And lastly, speaking of forwarding email...does anyone know how to get the stupid Groupwise KCMS-MSU account to forward to the Palm at least?
Peace out guys!
P.S. Anyone want to blow stuff up on the 4th? I'm down for some sparklers!
